I am a producer of long-form current affairs content and an M.A. graduate of Columbia Journalism School. Drawn to stories in conflict zones and misunderstood places, I have reported in over a dozen countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. I am adept at diving deep into complex issues in unfamiliar contexts. My work has appeared on Channel News Asia, The Diplomat, and Columbia Global Reports, among others.
When I am not working, I backpack and talk to strangers, sleep on borrowed couches, and occasionally hitchhike when I am stranded.
Besides being a journalist, I am also a certified life coach and yoga teacher.
